The National Service for Comprehensive Care for Adults Deprived of Liberty and Adolescent Offenders (SNAI), together with the National Police, seek to incorporate 1,400 new prison officers.
This recruitment process will begin on Monday, April 11, 2022.
The new prison guides will join the 1,600 who are already working in the different social rehabilitation centers in the country.
Francisco Guzmán, director of the Educational Regime of the SNAI, said, in an interview with Radio Vigía, that a person who graduates as a prison guide does so with a degree of prison security agent 3, with a salary of USD 813.40.
In addition, it was specified that the applicants will go through a phase of trust, toxicology, physical stature, among other tests. The selection process is expected to last two months, and the training will last five months.
Interested persons must register for the recruitment process on the platform of the National Police.
