UK to send more anti-tank weapons and money to Ukraine

 The United Kingdom (UK) on Wednesday announced it will send another 6,000 high-explosive anti-tank missiles, plus £25 million (USD million), UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson´s office reported on Wednesday.

According to the Downing Street statement, Mr. Johnson will announce new military package for supporting the Ukrainian armed forces at the G7 and NATO Summit that will be held on Thursday, in Brussels.

The financial contribution, which will raise funds provided by UK to Ukraine above $560 million will be used to pay wages for soldiers, pilots and police officers, and guarantee they are well equipped.

UK will also give additional $5.4 million to BBC’s global news service to counter misinformation campaigns in Russia and Ukraine, and offer financial support to the International Criminal Court to investigate into alleged war crimes committed by Russian troops.
