Ecuador began the process to reopen the embassy in Poland. This was announced by the Vice Minister of Human Mobility, Luis Vayas, this Monday, March 7.
Vayas reported that he has met with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of that country, Marcin Przydacz, to begin the steps to reopen this diplomatic portfolio, after it was closed in 2014.
“We appreciate the support for the evacuation processes and the solidarity of the Polish people with the Ecuadorians. We have started the process of reopening our embassy in that country,” said the deputy minister.
The dialogues with the Polish diplomat take place amid the escalation of conflicts between Russia and Ukraine on the border. 451 Ecuadorian citizens have left Ukraine, who are already in the country.
