(Prensa Latina) Russian company Gasprom continues regular gas supply for transit to Europe through Ukrainian territory, the company´s spokesman Sergey Kupriyanov reported.
Despite the conflict between the military forces of both countries, Gasprom maintains its deliveries according with the European consumer´s requests, which on March 4 reach 109,5 million cubic meters.
According to the company’s calculations, as of February 26, Europe completely withdrew from its subway storage facilities the gas volumes pumped in the summer of 2021.
The active gas volume in European subway storage facilities as of that date was 21,5 %, equivalent to 7,9 billion cubic meters, less than last year’s level, it said.
According to Gazprom, as of January 7, 2022, the level of reserves at European gas storage facilities moved to the zone of historic lows during a long-term observation period.
“As of February 26, reserves are 600 million cubic meters below the minimum figure for this date,” it warned.
