(Prensa Latina) Mexico reported a minimum level of hospitalization for Covid-19, confirming a 90 percent reduction in admissions compared to the highest point back in January 2021, as per the Public Health Ministry.
In its technical report of the last 24 hours, the source indicated that the occupancy of general beds decreased 1% and currently stands at 16%, while the demand for assisted respiration fell 2% and stands at 11%.
This week the number of estimated cases decreased by 36%. In the last 14 days, 40,061 people reported signs and symptoms of Covid-19 and are considered active cases, which represent 0.7 percent of the total registered since the start of the pandemic. More than 4,8 million have recovered.
Until yesterday, 78,988,000 people already had received the complete vaccination schedule, and 6,274,000 have received the first dose, which is equivalent to seven percent, for a total of 85,261,000, also according to the Ministry.
By age, 80,571,338 people over 18 years of age have at least one dose, as well as 4,690,000 adolescents between 14 and 17 years of age. The booster dose has already been applied to 27,525,000 people over 30 years of age.
