Relatives of deceased submarine crew members oppose Macri’s trip

Buenos Aires, Nov 24 (Prensa Latina) The relatives of the victims who drown in the Argentinean submarine ARA San Juan on Wednesday demanded, in one of their lawsuits, to prohibit that former President Mauricio Macri, who is being investigated for alleged espionage, travel abroad again.

The former head of State, who arrived from Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, requested authorization for another trip to visit Chile next weekend, thus generating astonishment among the relatives of all 44 submarine officers, who are facing Macri in court for alleged espionage against them, while they were waiting for news about their loved ones, who were killed in 2017.

The former president was invited by a multinational company called UPL-Limited to be the main speaker at an event, scheduled from November 30 and January 1 in Santiago, Chile.
