Police detains Assemblywoman Gabriela Rivadeneira’s father.

On Thursday, January 9, 2019 at 10:10 p.m., the Asset Laundering Unit (ULA) and the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) executed the police operation called “FLAMINGO”.

There, they arrested Assemblyman Gabriela Rivadeneira’s father for alleged crimes of unlawful association, unjustified private enrichment and tax fraud.

According to information from the National Police, an alleged organization generated large amounts of money in Otavalo and Cotacachi.

Apparently, they were engaged in the alleged buy and sale of vehicles and real state.
