Alianza País: María Fernanda Espinosa “is the best candidate” for the OAS

Alianza País supports the candidacy of María Fernanda Espinosa for the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (OAS), ”says the official movement statement.

The former president of the UN General Assembly, María Fernanda Espinosa, was formally nominated on December 13, 2019 for the position of the OAS General Secretariat.

However, President Moreno and leader of the Alianza País emphasized Espinosa’s capacity in December, but he said the Ecuadorian government will support Luis Almagro for re-election.
