(Prensa Latina) The company Yacimientos de Litio Bolivianos (YLB) plans to increase sales of lithium carbonate and potassium chloride to the world market and generate revenues exceeding 17 million dollars, the ABI agency reported today.
The executive president of the state-owned company, Marcelo Gonzales, said that they plan to achieve this result by the end of August, and by the end of the year they plan to exceed US$23 million for this concept.
He explained that 80 percent of potassium chloride production is exported to the Brazilian and Chilean markets, and the remainder to the domestic market.
