Japanese solidarity supports Cuba’s struggle against US blockade

(Prensa Latina) The Parliamentary Friendship League of Japan reiterated its support for Cuba in its struggle against the United States blockade, according to diplomatic sources.

The Cuban Embassy in Japan said that League President Furuya Keiji underlined the group’s support for Cuba and reviewed the state of bilateral relations with Cuban Ambassador Miguel Angel Ramirez.

The Japanese lawmaker ratified it firm rejection of the US blockade and denounced the serious damage it causes to the Cuban population.

The meeting took place at the seat of the House of Representatives of Japan, and the two parties also discussed the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in both countries, celebrated the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and other topics on the international agenda.
