In Ecuador refugees and migrants have access to vaccination against the coronavirus

The UN Agency for Refugees in Ecuador (Acnur) announced that the vaccination process for refugees and migrants in the country is in force.

The entity indicated that it does not matter their immigration status or whether or not they have documents, because in the country you can access the doses against Covid-19 just by approaching a vaccination center.

The only thing they must comply with in order to access the vaccine is to attend the inoculation point according to the schedule established by the Ministry of Health. That is, according to the age range established by the State Portfolio, which is updated every week.

In the case of being late, you can show up on the weekend, any day and at any point, from 08:00 to 17:00.
