US commercial crude oil and gasoline reserves decline

(Prensa Latina) The commercial crude oil and gasoline reserves in the United States decreased last week, while those of distillates increased, the Energy Information Administration reported on Thursday.

During the week that ended on July 2, oil reserves decreased by 6.9 million barrels, so the reserve amounted to 445.5 million barrels, while gasoline reserves lost 6.1 barrels and totaled 235.5 million.

For their part, distilled products, including heating fuel and diesel, increased 1.6 million of barrels, totaling 138.7 million barrels, according to the government office report.

In this period, it added, net crude oil exports in the US increased by 558,000 barrels per day.
