(Prensa Latina) Argentine Economy Minister Martín Guzmán will begin an official visit to the United States, where he will meet with members of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and financial and investor groups.
In an appointment he has been planning for weeks, Argentine minister will also meet with members of the World Bank and international investors in order to address the pending payment agreement borrowed in 2018 by previous government.
According to Télam agency, Guzmán is planning to extend his stay in Washington to meet with IMF´s Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, in order to advance in the negotiations to reach a new US$ 44 billion agreement.
