Fourth flight goes from Argentina to Moscow to get more vaccines against Covid19

This trip will bring 400.000 doses to Argentina and will be the largest shipment since the country began its vaccination plan.

This Wednesday, February 10, 2021, an Aerolineas Argentinas flight took off to Russia to bring to the South American country a new batch of Sputnik-V vaccines against Covid-19. The authorities hope that 400.000 doses will arrive and more than 1 million will go since the vaccination plan began.

The trip made by Aerolineas Argentinas will be the fourth since the government of Alberto Fernández began with the vaccination plan. Authorities hope to vaccinate 10 million people by the end of 2021.

« At 11 pm, the departure of Aerolineas Argentinas flight AR1064 to Russia to bring more Sputnik V vaccines to the country. The fourth of these very important operations to deal with Covid-19 », said the president of Aerolineas Argentinas yesterday, Pablo Ceriani.

The first mission of Aerolineas Argentinas traveled on December 22, 2020 and brought 300.000 doses to the South American nation on December 24, 2020. 7 weeks later the Argentines see how the fourth flight to Russia will bring the largest shipment in this process with 400.000 dose.

The flight will have no stopovers and 18 people will be inside the plane, including crew members, pilots and co-pilots, the trip will last between 15 and 16 hours.
