Japan prohibits the entry of foreign people to the country due to an increase in positive cases of Covid-19

The Asian country reports 300.000 infections and the death toll exceeded the 4.100 barrier.

This Wednesday, January 13, 2021, the Prime Minister of Japan, Yoshihide Suga, confirmed that the Japanese government expanded states of emergency to seven other prefectures in addition to Tokyo. Business travelers from 11 countries were also suspended from entering the country.

The Asian country reports a constant increase in positive cases of Covid-19, for which it has been forced to apply new restriction measures. Immigration extensions for entrepreneurs will also be suspended until February 7.

Governors of Osaka, Kyoto and other prefectures asked the government for a state of emergency that will give them the legal basis for new restriction measures to be implemented.
