The UNES candidate would have 37.61% of the votes and the CREO candidate 30.88%.
The Market Asesores pollster published a study on the political and social panorama in Ecuador in January. In this analysis, the main voting trends in the country for the elections of February 7, 2021 are shown.
In total, 1.520 surveys were conducted, with a face-to-face methodology, with men and women over 18 years of age in urban and rural parishes in the cities of Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca, Manta and Portoviejo.
The margin of error at the national level is +/- 3% and the confidence level is 95%.
The study shows that the candidate for the Union for Hope (UNES), Andrés Arauz, leads the intention to vote in Ecuador with 37.61% three weeks after the vote takes place. In second place, Guillermo Lasso would be found with 30.88% and in third place, the former mayor of Azuay, Yaku Pérez, with 13.85%.
The survey establishes that the indecision percentage is around 30.92%.
In the same way, the company shows that the main concern of Ecuadorians is unemployment, but they also feel distressed by corruption, the health crisis caused by Covid-19, lack of money and crime.
