Ecuador reports 883 new infections and 26 more deaths in the last 24 hours. In total, this November 12, 2020, the country has 177.513 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 12.946 deaths due to the pandemic.
According to the Health Ministry, 8.614 people died with a positive diagnosis and 4.332 deaths were probably due to the respiratory virus.
At the national level, there are 484 stable hospitalized patients and 350 with a reserved prognosis. In total, there are 834 interned in one day. While 847 more people were discharged from hospital.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the country has 154.956 recovered patients, which represents 88.59% of the total infected. Every Sunday this indicator is updated and adds an average of 6.500 recovered weekly.
Pichincha registers 368 new infections and nine more deaths in the last 24 hours. The most affected province in the country has a total of 63.018 cases of COVID-19 and 2.093 deaths. Quito adds 349 new infected and the total number of diagnosed in the Ecuadorian capital rises to 58.029.
