In one day, 1.537 cases increased.
In just 24 hours, the country registers 1.537 new confirmed cases of coronavirus with PCR tests.
According to the Ministry of Health, this Thursday, 138.584 cases were registered nationwide, when yesterday the figures reached 137.047.
The statistics indicate that 112.296 patients recovered, that there are 18.887 with hospital discharge, 226.419 cases discarded and 11,433 deaths (between confirmed and probable with Covid-19).
By provinces, Pichincha continues in the first place in the number of infections, reporting 40.775 cases. They are followed by Guayas with 20.423 and Manabí with 9.828.
Regarding the number of deaths confirmed with PCR tests, Guayas registers 1.716. Pichincha follows with 1.480 and Manabí with 942.
