This Monday, September 28, thunderstorms and heavy rainfall were recorded in various sectors of the Capital. Due to this, eleven emergency calls were reported in ECU911 for damages to homes in the south of Quito.
Emergencies were reported in the sectors of La Magdalena, Dos Puentes, in the south of Quito and in Cima de la Libertad, in the center of the city.
In addition to these floods in homes, the security cameras showed a large accumulation of water on Mariscal Sucre in the north-south direction, which complicated vehicular traffic in that area of the city.
According to the Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inamhi), the temperature for the city will vary between 9.9 and 21.0 degrees Celsius and the sky will be partial and occasionally cloudy, there could also be storms in the next few hours.
In the same way, in the rest of the province, the cantons Pedro Moncayo, Cayambe, Rumiñahui, Mejía and San Miguel de los Bancos are expected to register rains in the next few hours.
