These values will be in force in the country from September 11 to October 10.
The price of extra gasoline, eco-country, diesel 2, premium diesel and super increases throughout the country. This is due to the system of bands for the commercialization of fuels that will be in force until October 10.
The public company Petroecuador released the list of fuel prices that will govern this month throughout the country.
The suggested retail price for super gas will be USD 2.29, two coins more than in August; for the extra and ecopaís it is USD 1.756618. The month before it was at USD 1.75.
On the other hand, for diesel 2 and premium the price will be USD 1.136030. Here the largest increase is registered, since it was at USD 1,088.
Due to the new system of price bands for petroleum derivatives, the rise or fall of these values cannot be greater or less than 5% compared to the price of the previous month.
This new pricing system was established by the Government last May through Executive Decree 1054. With this policy, the Executive seeks that the price of fuels at the national level is adjusted to the international value.
To conclude, Petroecuador indicated that the new Agency for Regulation and Control of Energy and Non-Renewable Resources (ARC) will be the entity in charge of controlling the application of the band system in fuel suppliers and marketers throughout the national territory. .
