The country registers 914 new infections and 50 more deaths in the last 24 hours. In total, this July 29, 2020 Ecuador adds 83,193 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 9,088 deaths.
According to the Ministry of Health, there are 83,193 infected, 113,587 cases discarded, 5,623 deaths with a positive diagnosis and 3,465 deaths suspected of carrying the virus.
Regarding the situation of the confirmed cases, 40,755 are in home isolation, 882 stable hospitalized and 362 with reserved prognosis. While 11,043 people have been discharged from hospital and 18,629 discharged epidemiologically.
Pichincha reports 223 new infections in the last 24 hours, totaling 14,362 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus. Quito, the epicenter of the pandemic, reports 200 more cases than yesterday and amounts to 12,947 infected.
For 31 days, no recovered patient is reported, according to the government report, and it has remained at 5,900 since June 29.
