Pichincha and Quito report less than 10 new infections this July 13
Ecuador registers 589 new infections in the last 24 hours. This July 13 there are 68,459 confirmed cases of COVID. 19 and 8,340 deaths due to this pandemic.
According to the report of the Ministry of Health, there are 68,459 confirmed cases, 92,715 discarded, 5,063 people died with a positive diagnosis and 3,277 deaths suspected of carrying the virus.
Regarding the infected situation: 32,035 are in home isolation, 658 are stable hospitalized, and 334 with a reserved prognosis.
There are 992 people interned in the country. Several provinces report that they are at the limit in hospital occupancy, especially in intensive care units (ICU). Patients have to be referred to other provinces because there is no space for their care.
The report also reveals that since July 1 there are no more recovered patients and it remains at 5,900.
Pichincha reports 8 new infections, totaling 10,681 confirmed cases and 583 deaths. Quito registers 7 new infections, with a total of 9,677 infected. This July 13 reports fewer daily cases, after Quito has a peak of up to 682 daily cases. On Sunday, July 13, 259 new infections were reported in Pichincha and 220 in Quito.
