Julio Bueno, husband of Rosángela Adoum, was also spied on by the National Government, as revealed by this portal.
Several days ago, the Anonymous Ecuador portal published a list of politicians, journalists and lawyers who were allegedly spied on and persecuted by the Government of President Moreno.
In its latest leak, the portal assures that Julio Bueno, adviser to the Prime Minister and husband of Rosángela Adoum, his close collaborator, did not escape this espionage, and his communications also was intervened.
It should be remembered that this is not the first time that there have been allegations of persecution and espionage by this Government.
Several political actors, especially Correismo, denounced this, even in October 2019, in the context of the national strike, they alerted that their emails, their calls, their messages and all their communications were intercepted. They also denounced that there were vehicles that were chasing them.
The Government Minister, María Paula Romo, was consulted on this fact by a journalist, in a virtual press conference, and stressed that this “type of practice” is not part of a government that lives in a democracy.
Julio Bueno, along with his wife, accompanied President Moreno in Geneva when he carried out diplomatic functions in that country. Since that date, documents were leaked that would show his interference with José Ignacio Chauvin, linked by the Prosecutor’s Office and the Police in the case of drug trafficking Hurricane de la Frontera.
In the same way, an alleged communication with the then deputy comptroller, Pablo Celi, was leaked, in which she requested a meeting with her brother to discuss an audit.
On the other hand, they also published some emails, in which several people applied for positions on their behalf for the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute and other public institutions.
According to Anonymus Ecuador, the Government has also spied on: Jorge Glas, Jaime Nebot, Ronny Aleaga, Guillermo Lasso, Gustavo Larrea and the lawyer for former President Correa, Fausto Jarrín.
