Iran sends four other oil tankers carrying gasoline to Venezuela

(Prensa Latina) Iran sent to Venezuela four other oil tankers carrying 1.1 million barrels of gasoline facing the threat of confiscation due to a demand by prosecutors in the United States, it was reported on Friday.
The oil tankers quartet, the Bella, Bering, Pandi and Luna, are sailing towards Venezuela.

US prosecutors issued an order to stop the delivery of fuel to Venezuela, under extraterritorial punitive measures aimed at interrupting trade ties between Tehran and Caracas.

This is another attempt to exert pressure against ship-owners, ships or maritime authorities to end the increasingly growing and close ties between Iran and Venezuela that do not accept Washington’s policy.

Previously, five Iranian oil tankers carried 1.53 million barrels of gasoline and fuel processing additives to Venezuelan ports.
