Brazil represents 35 percent of the total of deceased nursing personnel in the world, affirmed the leader Joao Pedro Stédile.
The economist and leader of the Landless Movement (MST), Joao Pedro Stédile, denounced this Thursday that at least 140 doctors have lost their lives in Brazil due to Covid-19.
According to Stédile, of that total there are 30 in the state of Rio de Janeiro, while the same happened with 98 workers in the nursing area in the country.
“There were 260 (deceased) nursing people around the world, that is, only Brazil represents 35 percent of the total,” said the leader on his Twitter account.
