The first flight leaves Argentina to search for medical supplies in China

The state company ‘Aerolineas Argentinas’ left on Wednesday April 15 for the Asian country to search for medical supplies to combat covid-19.

This is the first of a series of flights that Argentina will make after the agreement made by Presidents Alberto Fernández and Xi Jinping.

The plane was conditioned to bring 13 tons of supplies to the warehouse. 17 crew members will travel on the plane. They will not get off the plane at any time. They will eat, sanitize and sleep on the Airbus 330-200,

“The objective is to find respirators, masks and suits so that doctors and nurses can save many lives,” said the flight commander and head of the pilots’ union, Pablo Biró.
