Ecuador is the second country in Latin America with the most infected with coronavirus

The vice president of Ecuador, Otto Sonnenholzner, assured that if the level of contagion continues to increase, they will not hesitate to take even more extreme the measures ordered so far.

 
In the national chain, the Second President reproached the people who have not complied with the disposition to stay at home and have left without protection or care on the streets.

The vice president warned that Ecuador is the second country in Latin America with the most infected, after Brazil. Therefore, he said that the Government has taken various measures to prevent the spread of the virus.

The most recent: the curfew will begin at 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. throughout the country from this Wednesday, March 25.

He made a call to the businessmen to “put their shoulders down” and collaborate in this health emergency that is going through the country.

Furthermore, he reiterated his call for political and social unity. “There will be time for political anger,” added Sonnenholzner, mentioning that the communication that certain sectors use to misinform is channeled to fight the coronavirus.

The Vice President stated that there can be no cuts in basic services due to non-payment and asked people who can pay to do so to support.
