Samuel Lema, leader of the Federation of Evangelical Indigenous Peoples of Ecuador (FEINE), one of the three organizations that is in dialogue with the Government of Ecuador, pointed out that:
There is no progress on issues such as productive development, price setting and fuel targeting.
The leader pointed out that if there are no advances and results, “there will be a reaction from the Ecuadorian people.”
The leader reported that they are one month away from ending the dialogue and the proposals have not been finalized.
“It must be a dialogue with results, otherwise decisions will be made within the indigenous movement,” he said.
