Ukraine loses over 1,700 soldiers in two days

The Russian Armed Forces eliminated more than 1,700 Ukrainian military in the last two days, Major General Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation, reported on Wednesday.

“The Russian forces destroyed 63 tanks, 59 infantry fighting vehicles, 48 armored personnel carriers, 14 trucks armed with heavy machineguns and over 1,700 Ukrainian servicemen on Monday and Tuesday this week,” the spokesperson said.

The materiel lost by the enemy includes four combat aircraft (two Su-25s, one Su-24 and one MiG-29) as well as three Mi-8 helicopters.

Konashenkov explained that the Kiev regime incurred the losses as a result of the attempts to take the towns of Arkhangelskoye, Olguino and Ternovye Pody, regions of Nikolayev and Krivoy Rog.

Konashenkov assured that “the attempt by Vladimir Zelensky’s regime to resume offensive operations in Nikolayev, Krivoi Rog and other directions failed.”

He also argued that 10 Ukrainian Armed Forces checkpoints in the Kherson, Dnepropetrovsk and the Donetsk People’s Republic regions were attacked, as well as 65 Ukrainian artillery units, personnel and war matériel in 153 areas.
