Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Andrei Rudenko, on Friday called the proposal to organize an international court to investigate Nazi crimes in Ukraine appropriate.
This high-ranking official answered that it is propably necessary to organize this court to a question by the TASS news agency on the proposal of the leader of the self-proclaimed People’s Republic of Donetsk, Denis Pushilin, to prepare a court to analyze the crimes of the Ukrainians who surrendered at the Azovstal steelworks, in Mariupol.
However, the Russian deputy foreign minister said that his country’s relevant authorities have kept a record of all the crimes of the Ukrainian army and ultranationalist brigades.
He explained that there is a public committee in several Russian structures in charge of keeping a record of all crimes by soldiers and Nazis both in the Donbas territory and Ukraine.
Rudenko said that the Investigation Committee and the General Attorney’s Office are taking care of this, and they will know the first results of this work soon.
Meanwhile, on Monday, Kiev’s courthouse sentenced soldier Vadim Shishimarin from Russia’s Armed Forces to life imprisonment, the Ukrainian Strana website reported on its Telegram channel, in which there is a video showing the judge reading the sentence.
According to the judge, the term of the sentence will be considered from March 1. He announced that the preventive measure will remain unchanged.
