Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee (UNHCR) will discuss the problems that Afghan refugees are facing at a high-level meeting next month, it was reported here.
The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation said that the four-party talks will be attended by officials from Kabul, Teheran, Islamabad and the UNHCR, Pajhwok news agency reported.
The meeting will be followed by three-party meetings among Afghanistan, Iran and the UNHCR, the source added.
A government spokesman from Kabul said that the meetings are aimed at addressing the problems affecting Afghan citizens in Pakistan and Iran.
The procedure for Afghans who live in Iran and Pakistan without being documented will also be discussed.
