Venezuela’s FANB maintains military operations on Colombian border

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) of Venezuela currently maintains operations against the Colombian Armed Drug Trafficking Terrorists (TANCOL) in the border state of Apure, the Strategic Operational Commander, Domingo Hernandez, stated.

“The FANB through the Territorial Defense System remains in frontal fight against the TANCOL groups that by all means seek new ways and surreptitious methods to flood the world with deaths”, the general wrote on his Twitter account.

Hernandez urged the security forces to remain firm in the battle against the paramilitaries and recalled that Venezuela is not a country of violence and trafficking, a culture they pretend to export from Colombia.

On Monday, the strategic commander announced the discovery of another camp in Venezuelan territory, full of war material and supplies coming from the neighboring country.

He assured that the FANB will not negotiate sovereignty and the TANCOL will be expelled from Venezuela.
