Russian forces attack 68 Ukrainian military targets

Russian forces destroyed 68 Ukrainian military targets last night, including three command and control centers, four anti-aircraft missile systems, and a radar station, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov reported that five multiple rocket launchers, two ammunition depots, three fuel and lubricant depots, and 19 staging areas of military matériel were also eliminated.

He noted that the high-precision cruise missiles hit a large fuel depot used to supply Ukrainian military equipment in the suburbs of Kiev. The Aerospace Defense also disabled three drones.

For their part, the militias of the Lugansk People’s Republic (PLR) and the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) have liberated 94 settlements in the region since the beginning of the Russian military operation.

According to the report, cities such as Severodonetsk, Lisichansk, Zolotoye, as well as several nearby towns, are still under the control of Ukrainian forces.

A previous report indicated that over 90 percent of the territory of the PLR was liberated from Ukrainian troops, although the popular militias continue to engage their remnants.

The first deputy head of the Ministry of Information of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, told the Solovyov Live channel on YouTube that the city of Mariupol is still being cleared from pro-Nazi battalions, and stressed that the center of the city is fully under control of DPR forces.
