Polish government announced the expulsion of 40 Russian diplomats from the country, a fact that is part of the long list of recent sanctions against Russia.
Warsaw justified the action by citing “incompatible activities with the officials´ status”, without giving more details, and summoned Moscow´s ambassador here, Sergey Andreev, according to the national press.
In this context, the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that her country´s response to the measure taken by Poland will no be long in coming, according to Sputnik news agency.
