Russian presidental spokesman, Dmitri Peskov, urged international organizations and authorities to pressure Kiev in order to influence Ukrainian nationalists who block the humanitarian corridors´ work in this country.
The senior official expressed that, among others, the United Nations and the European Union might, at least, influence the Ukrainian authorities.
“That would be really useful, it would contibute to people actually using those humanitarian corridors”, he told reporters on Monday.
Peskov assured that the allegations about city sieges not letting people out are “absolute lies”.
“There are humanitarian corridors, our military facilitate them. But, people do not leave through them, because the nationalists themselves do not let them”, the Kremlin press head stressed, who claimed that these people are used as human shields.
