Russian President Vladimir Putin offered his condolences to his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, for the death of people traveling on a commercial plane that crashed today in the territory of that Asian nation.
“Dear Mr. President, please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of passengers and crew of the flight from Kunming to Guangzhou,” the Kremlin said.
He stated that Russia shares the pain of those who lost their families and loved ones in that tragedy.
A China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 with 132 passengers on board had an accident while flying from Kunming, in Yunnan province, to Guangzhou, towards Guangdong.
