The Colombian Communist Party said that it shares the demand of NATO dissolution and avoid new military blocs, in a world subjected once again to the holocaust´s threat.
In this sense, it claimed the prohibition of invasions to other countries, as well as economic blockades against States and peoples. It stressed that NATO strategic concept, dominated by big transnational capital´s interests and the US government, is aggresive, and directed against Russia and its economic, infrastructure and defense agreements with People´s Republic of China, Vietnam, Iran and India.
It added that AUKUS (Australia-United Kingdom-United States, a military agreement that was publicly announced on September 15, 2021 for the Indo-Pacific region) seeks to close the siege of US bases against Russia, the Middle East and the Eurasian world.
He pointed out that military interventionism goes together with economic sanctions as an imperialism punishment against the peoples and independent States.
The Colombian Communist Party demanded the freedom of the young communists imprisoned by Ukrainian puppet regime and remarked that “the Colombian State must definitively separate itself from NATO and renounce the ridiculous false-truth that we are under threat from Russia and Venezuela”.
The Party expressed its support for the elimination of atomic weapons and advocated peaceful and diplomatic means to resolve international conflicts and the search for a common destiny for humanity.
