(Prensa Latina) The population of Brazil’s central-western region of the Federal District will face today a storm with strong winds between 60 to 100 kilometers per hour, according to a specialized source.
The climatic situation to be maintained until 11 am (local time) this Thursday, implies the risk of electrical discharges, floods and power outages, informed the National Meteorological Institute (Inmet).
The agency, which issued an orange alert, warned of a high probability of rain this weekend and during the rest of February. According to the forecast, average rainfall may be exceeded during this month.
