US blockade has criminal record, says Peruvian analyst

(Prensa Latina) On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the officialization of the US blockade, this measure has broken all records of insanity and criminality, former Peruvian Parliamentarian and Politician Gustavo Espinoza said Thursday.

In statements to Prensa Latina News Agency, Mr. Espinoza said the Executive Order signed by then President John F. Kennedy was arranged “as a quarantine scheduled for a few weeks.

“However, it has kept unchanged for over 60 years and broken all records for insanity and criminality,” he added.

He added that in the future, as historians talk about this stage of Humanity’s life, “they will be overwhelmed by the treachery the US blockade implies.”

“The largest and most powerful nation in the world, with 330 million inhabitants, regards what is happening on a small nation in the Caribbean as a ‘danger to its security’,” a falsehood to keep the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba, he noted.

“Solidarity with Cuba is a universal challenge and a mission for all of us,” he asserted.
