Given the expressions of xenophobia and discrimination that have been registered in the country for the acts of violence in which foreign citizens would be involved, the United Nations Organization in Ecuador expresses its concern.
On Twitter, the organization clarifies that “violence, crime and crime are problems that affect all societies and their origin does not correspond to a particular nationality.
In this regard, the UN calls on all sectors of the country to maintain a culture of peace and respect for the rights and equality of all people.
