(Prensa Latina) Denmark´s omicron variant death toll climbed to 18 on Tuesday, the TV2 network reported.
Such figures accounted for Nov. 21-Dec. 28, 2021 period, reporting a total of 56,000 diagnosed cases.
Now omicron is spreading nationwide, being responsible for 90% of all infections.
Denmark´s health authorities, however, said the hospitalization toll -compared to the Delta variant- was reduced, while most of people admitted in serious condition go to unvaccinated patients.
