La Paz, Oct 19 (Prensa Latina) The Bolivian Workers’ Center (COB) and the Pact of Unity on Tuesday ratified their support for the government of President Luis Arce, and declared themselves in a state of emergency to face any destabilizing action.
The executive secretary of the ‘Bartolina Sisa’ National Confederation of Native Indigenous Peasant Women of Bolivia, Flora Aguilar, showed her support for Arce’s economic and social achievements during his first year in office, and rejected the anti-government maneuvers by the right wing.
Aguilar ratified maintaining and deepening the unity of the people around the national government and guaranteeing productive and industrial state work for the development of the country.
For his part, COB Executive Secretary Juan Carlos Huarachi told the Bolivian Information Agency (ABI) that the Bolivian people, through their social organizations, are saying enough to acts of racism and discrimination and to attempts at destabilization orchestrated by the department of Santa Cruz.
President Arce thanked the COB and the Unity Pact for supporting his government.
