Cristina Fernandez affirms the opposition seeks Macri’s impunity

Buenos Aires, Oct 1 (Prensa Latina) The Argentine Vice President, Cristina Fernandez, echoed this Friday the statement of a parliamentarian, who pointed out that the Buenos Aires legislature seeks to advance on justice to ensure the impunity of former President Mauricio Macri.

Fernandez shared on her social networks a fragment of the intervention of the Buenos Aires legislator Lucia Campora, during a debate of the Buenos Aires parliament, which approved the day before a project that seeks to enable the Superior Court of Justice to intervene in cases of the national Justice.

‘Why don’t they come clean and directly bring us the written rulings they want to take out?’, said Campora during her intervention in the legislative chamber and also demanded that they stop putting the City’s justice system on its knees before their political space’.

In her message, the vice-president pointed against Macri, the Head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodriguez Larreta, and the former governor and current candidate for deputy for the opposition Juntos por el Cambio Maria Eugenia Vidal.

‘Do you see why Macri, Larreta and Vidal want more legislators: besides taking away your severance pay, they want to guarantee Mauricio Macri’s impunity’, said the former governor, who also made reference to the project of the coalition Juntos por el Cambio to replace severance pay with insurance.

In yesterday’s debate, the Buenos Aires legislature approved an appeal already used by Macri himself in the case of the Correo Argentino debt, where he appealed to the Superior Court of Justice to try to remove the national judge who decreed the bankruptcy.
