Cairo, Sep 29 (Prensa Latina) Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Brazil’s Vice President Hamilton Mourão agreed to strengthen bilateral relations, especially in the military, security, commercial and economic fields, an official source informed on Wednesday.
During a meeting held Tuesday, El-Sisi and Mourão advocated for boosting investments and the Brazilian tourism in this nation, Presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said in a communique.
The Egyptian president affirmed that Brazil is a key partner in Latin America.
The two sides exchanged views on the Palestinian cause, as well as on events in Libya and Tunisia, the text stated.
According to official data, the trade exchange between the two nations grew by 22.9 percent during the first half of 2021, to register 1.3 billion dollars.
