La Paz, Sep 6 (Prensa Latina) The participatory process in Bolivia for the implementation of a judicial reform must be based on a public policy of unity, the Government assured today.
The strategic work plan consists of six axes of popular contributions to transform the justice system as a State policy, the head of that portfolio, Ivan Lima, explained in an interview with Radio Television Popular.
The program foresees that the proposal’s socialization for the collection of suggestions at national level will be carried out in 90 days, the Minister of Justice and Institutional Transparency added.
According to Lima, the debates will include areas on internal conflict, system of access to justice, judicial independence, normative development, solutions in information and communication technologies and institutional transparency.
The minister informed that the organizers conceived to make that participatory process ‘a public policy in unity,’ since its presentation a week earlier in the southwestern department of Oruro.
‘No one is asking for justice to remain as it is. We are not only talking about reform, but about the transformation of justice,’ the minister underscored.
