(Prensa Latina) The Taliban movement declared an amnesty throughout Afghanistan and urged women to join their government, as well as ordered government employees to return to work.
The military evacuation flights of diplomats and civilians resumed on Tuesday, after the runway of Kabul international airport was cleared of crowds desperate to leave the country after the triumph of the Taliban, the Al-Jazeera network reported.
The mayor of Kabul and the acting Minister of Public Health were among those who returned to their jobs on Tuesday, the source added.
The Taliban urged Afghan women to join their government, while Enamullah Samangani, a member of the group’s cultural commission, commented on governance from a federal level in the country, although he did not give details about the formation of the new Executive.
